Super Junior Reunites as a Complete Group in Kuala Lumpur! “SUPER JUNIOR 20th Anniversary TOUR in KUALA LUMPUR” Concludes Successfully with an Unforgettable Night with Fans. Nine Members Promise Malaysian E.L.F. a “See You Again”
Organised by iMe Malaysia, “SUPER JUNIOR 20th Anniversary TOUR in KUALA LUMPUR” was held spectacularly on 17 January 2026, igniting Kuala Lumpur with excitement. The “Kings of K-Pop,” Super Junior, returned to Malaysia as a complete nine-member lineup to celebrate their 20th anniversary together with Malaysian E.L.F. (official fan club name).
The concert kicked off with Leeteuk, Siwon, Heechul, Ryeowook, Yesung, Kyuhyun, Shindong, Donghae and Eunhyuk appearing on the main stage in elegant white suits, delivering a powerful opening sequence with energetic hits such as “Knock Out,” “U,” “Black Suit,” and “Mamacita,” instantly bringing the atmosphere to a fever pitch.
During the interaction segment, Super Junior excitedly greeted fans with “Malaysia, Apa Khabar! We Are Super Junior!” Shindong and Ryeowook were the first to say hello, sending flying kisses to fans, while Donghae shared that it had been a long time since they last visited Malaysia and encouraged everyone to enjoy the night together until the very end.
Special moments continued as Siwon transformed into a “presidential candidate,” promising fans he would always do his best, while Heechul, who had not visited Malaysia in a long time, knelt at the centre of the stage as fans loudly chanted, “Saranghaeyo Kim Heechul, Milk Skin Kim Heechul,” fully embracing his status as a “Universe Star.” Meanwhile, Kyuhyun, who was experiencing throat discomfort, apologised to fans and shared, “Malaysia, I can’t shout too much or my voice will die, but I’ll do my best.” Leader Leeteuk jokingly added that although he could not rip his shirt on stage, he hoped everyone would still fully enjoy the concert.
Super Junior also showcased their mature stage charisma with a series of emotional ballads, taking fans on a nostalgic journey through different eras and memories that have accompanied them from youth until now. Staying true to their concert tradition, the members presented a costume segment themed around cute animals: Leeteuk as a duck, Heechul as a peacock, Yesung as a black cat, Eunhyuk as a rabbit, Donghae as a puppy, Shindong as a panda, Siwon as a horse, Ryeowook as his favourite giraffe, and Kyuhyun as a penguin. They performed “ROKKUGO!!!” and “Too Many Beautiful Girl,” filling the arena with laughter and joy.
The group went on to perform their new song “Express Mode” along with iconic hits such as “Mr. Simple,” “Sorry Sorry,” and “Don’t Don,” during which the entire venue sang along in unison. As “Happiness” played, the members formed a line and walked around the arena to bid farewell to fans. Expressing their regret over only being able to perform for one night in Malaysia, they promised to return again soon.
Shindong thanked fans for their unwavering support, saying he hoped to perform in Malaysia for several nights in the future to create more memories together. Yesung shared that their stay in Malaysia was less than 24 hours and that he cherished every moment of the performance. Eunhyuk expressed his belief that they would meet again, thanking fans for a beautiful night. Leeteuk revealed that Super Junior’s January schedule was fully packed with concerts and thanked fans for following them everywhere, adding that he wished he could stay longer in Malaysia, noting that some fans even attended the concert with their families and children. Heechul jokingly teased Leeteuk by saying some fans’ fathers might be younger than him, prompting Leeteuk to shout playfully, “Fine! I’m your father!”
During the encore, Super Junior performed “Dancing Out” as a special gift to Malaysian E.L.F., recalling that they had filmed the song’s music video in Malaysia back in 2006, making the moment especially meaningful. Before leaving the stage, the members continuously sent flying kisses and heart gestures to fans. As the concert concluded amid thunderous applause and cheers, Super Junior once again promised Malaysian E.L.F. a heartfelt “See you again.”
